Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide onsite services in a K-12 school setting in Jacksonville, North Carolina. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to work primarily with a preschool caseload during a non-school year (NSY) schedule, supporting pediatric communication and language development.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for preschool-aged children
  • Implement evidence-based therapy to address speech, language, and communication disorders within the school environment
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with state and professional regulations
  • Participate in professional development and utilize mentorship resources to enhance clinical skills

Qualifications :

  • Valid North Carolina license as an Occupational Therapist (or applicable SLP licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly in school-based settings
  • Ability to manage a preschool caseload effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
