Reporting to the Director of Media, the Manager, Media Planning & Analytics role will play a pivotal role in supporting the execution and optimization of paid media strategies across both online and offline channels. This role is ideal for a data-savvy media professional who thrives at the intersection of media planning and marketing analytics. The Manager will be responsible for pulling and analyzing data to inform campaign decisions, collaborating with internal teams and external agencies, and ensuring media investments are optimized for performance and ROI. This is a critical role for the company with direct business impact ensuring the capture of demand while also maintaining a balance between cost of customer acquisition (CAC) and customer lifetime value (LTV).

This position requires a hands-on approach to data, including the ability to pull, manipulate, and analyze datasets (i.e., using SQL, Python, and / or Excel), and translate insights into actionable media strategies. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for continuous improvement in media performance.

Specifically, this individual will be responsible for :

  • Support the Director of Media in the planning, execution, and optimization of media campaigns across channels including digital (search, display, social, OTT), traditional (TV, radio, OOH), and emerging platforms.
  • Use SQL to extract campaign and customer data from internal databases to support performance analysis and reporting.
  • Analyze media performance using Excel and other analytics tools to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborate with media agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure campaigns are aligned with business goals and target audiences.
  • Assist in the development of test-and-learn strategies to evaluate new media channels, audience segments, and bidding strategies.
  • Monitor daily campaign performance and KPIs, flagging issues and opportunities to the Director and broader team.
  • Contribute to the preparation of performance reports and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Stay current on media trends, tools, and best practices to bring innovative ideas to the team.

What it takes to succeed :

  • 35 years of experience in digital marketing, marketing analytics, and media planning
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating datasets.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data visualization.
  • Knowledge of Python for data analysis is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Experience working with media platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, DSPs) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience in the theme park, hospitality, or entertainment industry is a plus.
