About The Position

Job Title : CT / Radiologic Technologist

Profession : Radiologic Technologist

Specialty : Computed Tomography

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day shifts with weeknight call and weekend shifts / call on a rotation

Hours per Shift : 8 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years

License : ARRT license required

Certifications : ND imaging license required, BLS for Healthcare Providers required

Must-Have : Knowledge and experience with x-ray and CT scanner, operating equipment, and producing diagnostic images.

Description :

This position requires the ability to perform general x-ray and CT procedures.

Patient scheduling for clinic, hospital, and emergency room patients is necessary.

Experience with dexa is a plus but not required.

Being on-call is a required component of this role.

Knowledge of radiation safety is mandatory.

Strong patient care and customer service skills are essential.

Employees must badge in and out during their shifts.

Clinicians will work alone when on-call.

Shifts typically run from 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM or 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, four days per week.

Staff will rotate every fifth weekend and will be responsible for 1-2 nights of call per week.

All clinicians are required to float between different units or departments.

The facility operates with a 25-bed critical access hospital with an average patient census.

Training will be provided to ensure comfort with performing exams.

It is crucial to have prior CT experience for this assignment.

Every fifth holiday will be scheduled.
