Contract Length : 13 weeks

Shift : Nights, 3x12-hour shifts / week (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1880-$2020

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience

Active Ohio RN license or compact state Registered Nurse license (required at submission)

Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications

At least one supervisory reference in Med / Surg Telemetry (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director)

COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

BCI / FBI fingerprinting completed within 48 hours of contract signing

Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (2 attempts maximum)

Ability to pick up badge and complete onsite fingerprinting before start date

Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry setting

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed

Accurately document patient care in compliance with hospital policies

Educate and support patients and families throughout the care process

Participate in unit-based quality improvement and maintain adherence to facility protocols
