Security Flex Officers Needed at Allegheny Health Network Hospitals in the Pittsburgh, Monroeville, Canonsburg, and surrounding areas.

Full-time - $19.00 / hour

Flex officers are scheduled on any shift / day, as needed, up to 40 hours per week. Weekends are included in schedule. Officer will be scheduled at any Allegheny Health Network hospital in the area that is provided security by Allied Universal.

Frequent walking / standing required (indoor / outdoor); moderate technological usage required.

Important information regarding this position :

• Officer is responsible for their own transportation to each site, as scheduled.
• Officer may be required to assist nursing staff with patient restraints - proper training provided.
• Officer may be required to escort nursing staff to hospital morgue with deceased patients.
• Multiple vaccinations are required prior to working on site (company paid) including : two-stage tuberculosis screening, MMR, Varicella, Tetanus screenings (TB testing instructions provided at orientation).
• No facial hair permitted due to client requirements. Officer must adhere to all grooming, uniform, and hygiene standards listed here : Grooming+Guidelines.pdf.
• Child Abuse Clearance will be submitted at orientation.

As a hospital security officer, you will serve and safeguard a high-profile healthcare customer. The hospital security officer is responsible for the surveillance of the client's healthcare premises and the protection of the staff, members, and visitors. A hospital security professional detects and prevents any suspicious activity, observes and reports incidents, and provides customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
