JAGS Mechanical in Cincinnati, OH is hiring a meticulous, organized, and career-driven person to join our office as a full-time Accounting Associate . You'll be maintaining financial records, processing payroll, and helping leaders execute growth strategies to support our continued expansion. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING AS OUR ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE :

You'll play a vital part in our efficient financial processes, completing accurate work while meeting all deadlines. You'll help out with various aspects of our finances, including deposit reconciliation, accounts receivable and payable, and payroll processing. Paying close attention to detail, you'll calculate and process bonus payouts, prepare and analyze financial statements, and track financial KPIs (profits, costs, labor efficiency, etc.).

In addition to the day-to-day activities, you'll support big-picture processes and contribute to office growth. You'll collaborate with leadership and operations teams to provide strategic insights into our finances and help implement optimized financial processes. By assisting with internal reports, dashboard maintenance, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow projections, you'll help our business reach the next level!

What You Need :

• Professional experience in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in corporate accounting, tax, or financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
• In-depth knowledge about GAAP and financial statements
• Advanced Excel and report-building skills
• Close attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Time management and task prioritization skills
• Communication skills and organizational abilities
• Experience using QuickBooks Online and ADP RUN (or similar platforms) - preferred
