- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.
- One year of clinical experience e.g., home care, outpatient, acute care (hospital preferred) technician experience during the most recent two years in a setting relevant to the unit; volunteer work as EMT or CRT may be considered.
- BLS CPR certification required : AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.
- Authorization to Work in the United States : Applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position.

Nelson 3 is a 23-bed medical unit with 12 telemetry beds. On the unit you will provide care for a variety of complex adult medical patients with acute gastrointestinal, cardiac, renal, hepatic, endocrine, sickle cell, hematological, and respiratory disorders. The team uses a multidisciplinary approach to care, utilizing physicians, case managers, homecare, pharmacy, PT / OT, and social work to provide quality and safe care while supporting the patient and their family.

Salary Range : Minimum 18.41 / hour - Maximum 27.70 / hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
