ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Roanoke, Virginia.

Job Details : \n

  • Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6 : 45 PM to 7 : 15 AM

    • \n

  • Must be comfortable working ALL PCU and MS units as a float nurse

    • \n

  • May float 2-3 times per shift (up to every 4 hours) as staffing needs are re-evaluated

    • \n

  • May be required to float to CRCH to Inpatient Rehab

    • \n

  • PCU patient ratio averages 5 : 1, MS ratio averages 6 : 1 (may flex up to 7 : 1)

    • \n

  • Weekend requirement : May be every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block

    • \n

  • Must work one holiday per 13-week contract

    • \n

  • EPIC charting experience required

    • \n

  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS

    • \n

  • Must have experience in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and blood product administration

    • \n

  • Skilled in central line care, trach management, and non-invasive airway support including nasal cannula, CPAP / BiPAP, and chest tubes

    • \n

  • Proficient in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, titrating cardiac drips

    • \n

  • Capable of managing PCA and heparin protocols, administering IV insulin

    • \n

  • Background in telemetry and stepdown-level care (PCU / DOU / IMC) with cardiovascular experience required

    • \n

  • 2 years of experience required

    • \n

  • Minimum 24 hours of orientation provided

    • \n

  • All RTO requests must be included with submission
