Title : Radiation Therapist

Location : Santa Rosa, CA

Duration : 13 weeks (starting 10 / 13 / 2025)

Shift : Day, 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 – 16 : 30)

Job Summary :

The Radiation Therapist is responsible for delivering radiation treatments, operating Siemens CT equipment, and ensuring safe and effective patient care in an oncology setting. Daily caseload is approximately 25 patients. The role involves treatment planning, patient setup, imaging, and monitoring while collaborating with the care team. No floating or on-call duties are required.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist
  • ARRT (T) certification, ARRT, BLS, and California State License required
  • Proficiency with Siemens CT (clinical work experience, not educational exposure)
  • Experience with ARIA, Epic charting (preferred)
  • Experience with Varian 21 EX / iX equipment
  • Competency in custom molds / shields, tumor localization, CBCT / kV / mV imaging, block cutting, compensation filters, wedges, portal casts, and radiation safety practices
  • Ability to calculate radiation doses, perform external beam therapy, and deliver IMRT treatments

    • Preferred Skills & Experience :

  • Previous experience in oncology centers and adult acute care settings
  • Familiarity with Pinnacle (Philips) or Eclipse (Varian) treatment planning systems
