Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Contract

Start Date : December 1, 2025

End Date : March 2, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day Shift, 3x12-hour shifts / week (07 : 00 - 19 : 30)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Coverage : Required (every other weekend)

Holiday Coverage : As needed

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,790 - $1,920

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Maryland or Compact RN License (required at time of submission)

Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Telemetry nursing experience

BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)

NIHSS certification

Travel nursing experience required

Proficiency with electronic charting systems

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Ability to float within hospital units as needed

2 satisfactory professional references (1 supervisor / manager and 1 charge RN)

Permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from facility

Cardiac Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult cardiac patients, including those with stroke / TIA and post-cardiac cath procedures

Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias

Administer and manage specialty drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, Protonix, Lasix – non-titratable)

Perform central and peripheral line care and management

Utilize remote telemetry monitoring systems

Implement isolation precautions and oxygen therapy protocols

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, rapid response)

Float to other nursing units within scope of experience as required

Participate in scheduled holiday and weekend coverage
