Job Description

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will assess, plan, and implement nursing care of residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Responsibilities include ensuring continuity of care by providing direct care, passing medications, and supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan nursing care for residents.
• Implement nursing care under the supervision of an RN.
• Provide direct care and administer medications.
• Supervise CNAs and support staff to ensure quality of care.
• Maintain accurate records using Electronic Medical Records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and external representatives.
