Administrative Support / Project Information Specialist (Audio-Visual Management)

Title : Administrative Support / Project Information Specialist (Audio-Visual Management)

Location : Arlington, VA

Salary : Commensurate with experience.

Clearance : Secret Clearance Required and Must Be Able to Maintain

Job Description :

The Admin Support / Project Information Specialist provides support for approximately 50-60 events a year, including internal agency meetings in a total of seven (7) conference rooms.

Typical duties include :

• Create and implement organizational or administrative management policies and procedures
• Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements
• Manage project report library
• Perform administrative services like office management, building and facilities management, human resources, and / or security
• Provide training and technical assistance to staff
• Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting issues with AV equipment during events such as microphone and monitor connectivity, presentations or visual material access
• Perform physical room set-up of furniture in addition to refreshment stations, set-up of Audio Visual and teleconferencing equipment in support of guests, events, and meetings for all conference rooms and the training center as required.
• Create and edit audio-visual content such as presentations and videos
• Set up conference, board, or training rooms
• Manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
• Identify and resolve complex problems
