Overview

Non‑Interventional / Non‑Invasive Cardiology reporting to a Medical Director. Join a winning team of primarily primary care physicians and geriatricians who refer patients. Continuity of care for patients over 65 is the majority of the caseload. Be responsible for the ongoing development and quality control of the echocardiography program.

Duties

• No weekend work.
• No on‑call assignment.
• No inpatient service.
• 6 patient slots for AM appointments; each PM slot includes reading echoes, answering patient questions, and providing consults with primary care physicians.
• Medical assistant assigned.
• No daily travel expectations. Work 2 days a week at 1 facility and 3 days at a second facility.
• Management of chronic cardiovascular diseases, including ordering appropriate imaging or lab tests and recommending treatment plans as indicated by patients’ clinical needs.
• Will have equipment to perform echocardiograms (EKG) and read studies for the entire market.
