Job Title : Network Construction Manager
Duration : 12+ Months ( Possibility of Extension or conversion)
Location : Chandler AZ 85286
Schedule : Monday to Friday (Hybrid schedule)
Schedule / Hours : This will be a hybrid role. 60% will be in office and 40% will be in field. There may be possible travel to NV or NM. Please confirm your candidate can work any combination of office days and field days (Monday - Friday). 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM AZ time
Skills : Node, Small Cell and project management experience
Expenses : Mileage when travelling, cell phone (standard charges)
Primary candidates should include proficiency with the following experiences / abilities :
- Ability to organize work across several different projects simultaneously
- Communicate updates in a concise and timely manner
- Collaborate with internal shareholders in Engineering, Permitting, Regulatory, Operations, and Project Delivery to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Fiber construction drawing and design proficiency
- Small cell construction drawing and design proficiency
- OSP fiber construction (bore, trench, aerial placement, leased duct)
- Node and power construction (foundation, pole installation, power installation, RF component installation, troubleshooting)
- Understanding of the process for bringing metered power to a small cell site
- Construction crew management
- Understanding of 811 utility location process and best practices for safe sub-surface construction
- Excel and Smartsheet
Responsibilities :
Prepares and submits purchase orders and processes contractor invoices for fiber and small cell.Assists with project financials and milestone management, such as forecasting, issuing and receiving on vendor POs, tracking and resolving past due invoices.Provide additional administrative support as required.Communicates issues to management prior to reaching critical status.Develops progress reports, tracks progress and identifies / resolves obstacles.Assists with ad hoc reporting requests.Communicate with vendors concerning construction timelines, milestones, safety, and billing.Understanding service delivery and close out packagesUpdating company tools and attending company cross functional team meetingsEducation / Certifications :
High School degreeA valid driver’s license requiredOSHA 10 or preferredExperience / Minimum Requirements :
Minimum three (3) years of telecommunications / wireless construction experienceGeneral knowledge of Outside Plant Construction techniques (aerial & underground) for SCS.General knowledge of Small Cell Construction techniques.Familiarity with test equipment and techniques for performing OTDR, PIM, and SWEEPGeneral knowledge of NESC, NEC and OSHA standards.Company Description
