Position Summary :

The Electrical Test Technician is responsible for conducting comprehensive testing activities to verify the integrity and performance of Gaven’s shielding products. This role requires proficiency in both electrical wiring and assembly to ensure product readiness and functionality. Testing and assembly work is performed both in-house and off-site at client facilities, requiring a high degree of technical expertise and attention to detail. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining product quality standards and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities :

• Tests electrical filters using pulsed current injection equipment and ensures the resulting data is properly recorded and analyzed.
• Performs shielding effectiveness testing to determine the performance of a shielded enclosure; if shielding issues are discovered, recommend rework to production personnel.
• Performs electrical wiring and assembly tasks, including but not limited to :

Installing and securing electrical components such as connectors, terminals, and circuit boards.
