SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital is seeking a dedicated RN for our Chemotherapy department. In this crucial role, you'll not only perform essential nursing tasks but also support patients and their families as they navigate their healthcare journey.

Key Responsibilities :
- Support patient care through thorough assessment and action.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address patient and family concerns.
- Develop and individualize treatment plans.
- Perform intravenous insertions and assessments for various access points.
- Use state-of-the-art equipment to ensure safe and effective treatment.
- Monitors patient conditions and communicates changes effectively.
- Utilize the Electronic Health Record (EHR) for detailed treatment documentation.
- Deliver care grounded in evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's unique needs.
- Maintain vigilant alertness to ensure patient safety.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For :
Education : Graduate of an accredited nursing school or equivalent education.
Experience : No prior experience required; your passion and commitment to patient care are what matter most.
Physical Requirements :
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and auditory.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.Occasionally required to lift / carry patients and items weighing up to 50 lbs.Frequent use of vision and manual dexterity for patient care tasks.Licensure and Certifications :
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).Registered Nurse (RN) license from the state of practice.Advanced certifications as relevant (e.g., AOCN, OCN) preferred but not required.Work Schedule :
This position offers a day shift schedule with a standard commitment of 40 hours per week.
