About The Position

Job Title : Echo Tech Profession : Echo Tech Specialty : Radiology Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Evening Hours per Shift : 8 Experience : Minimum 2 years License : RCS Certifications : BLS Must-Have : Registered Cardiac Sonographer BLS certification 1-3 years of experience with neonate to geriatric patients Description : Unit is a specialized area with 2 beds and 7 staff members. Staff includes 2-3 on day shift and 1-2 on night shift. No overnight shifts are required. There are also 1-2 staff on weekends. Patient ratios are 1 : 1, ensuring focused care. Equipment used includes GE systems. Documentation occurs via Meditech Expanse. Call requirements are approximately 3-7 nights per month. Typical procedures include complete 2D echocardiograms. Candidates should function well independently. Ability to complete studies in less than 45 minutes per patient is essential. Adaptability to a fast-paced and fluid environment is important. Candidates should be able to take call for emergency stat echoes. Dress code includes ciel blue scrubs.
