Responsibilities :
- Deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly chair-side manner, prioritizing the patient's needs.
- Be fully engaged and punctual for all assigned shifts.
- Assist the dentist and hygienists during procedures, anticipating their needs with precision.
- Take, develop, and present high-quality radiographs accurately.
- Review patient charts and document health histories and treatment notes efficiently.
- Prepare and sterilize equipment and the work area according to established guidelines.
- Help maintain patient flow and assist in managing the schedule efficiently.
- Address patient questions and educate them about procedures and care.
- Collaborate positively with team members to create an exceptional patient experience.
- Support front office staff in scheduling follow-up visits and tracking lab cases.
- Monitor and manage dental supply levels when assigned.
- Promote Sonrava's services and products to patients.
- Participate in daily huddles and complete assigned checklists to ensure smooth operations.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Follow OSHA safety policies and Blood-borne Pathogens regulations.
- Complete all required training through our Learning Management System.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required.Current radiography certification required.Dental Assistant certification as per state regulations, or the ability to obtain one.Current CPR certification preferred.Preferred certification for monitoring Nitrous Oxide / Oxygen analgesia.Commitment to annual OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training.Skills and Abilities :
Experience in a patient-centered environment preferred.Demonstrated customer service skills and a positive attitude.Exhibit professionalism, integrity, and strong communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills, with a knack for conflict resolution.Organizational and multitasking abilities, maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.Computer proficiency with a willingness to learn new software.Work Environment and Conditions :
Flexible hours, including overtime as approved by the Operations Leader.Occasional travel for training and job functions.Safety procedures and personal protective equipment usage required.Potential for prolonged sitting and standing during shifts.
