As Beverage manager you will be part of the overall restaurant management team having responsibilities which include leading daily opening and closing duties, with a focus on the bar.
Service :
Create Floor Charts and assign sectionsManage team member productivityAssign deep cleaning tasksBalance workflowBalance number of seats per team memberMake sure that the entire restaurant is detailed, stocked and ready for service at all times.Make cuts, and assign breaks as neededUphold the standards and practices of Juliet Italian Kitchen at all times.Support and lead servers, server assistants, and bar staffDelegate priorities to team members as neededMake sure food is always up to our standards, garnished and served properly.Make sure all drinks, and wines are served correctly.Complete and review all checklists for all positions, including your own.Help ensure that all BEO's are accounted for and executed correctly.Maintenance :
Maintain inventory of Spirits / beer / wine / ingredients / N-A BevMaintain / update to continue relevance of Juliet's Spirit / Wine / Beer programEnsure the beverage program is fresh, relatively seasonal, and on brand while maintaining profitabilityMaintain inventory par system to facilitate budget goalsStaff Training :
Continuous training on Juliet's Bar programIdeally utilizing assistance from vendorsTraining program for new hires as it relates to the beverage programFoster growth in the bar team, while advocating for them when issues ariseIdentify and groom potential bar leadsAssist in training entire management team to be capable behind the bar and knowledgeable on the bar programAssist in updates with overall staff training program as it relates to the bar program.Financial :
Complete weekly bar inventory.Maintain beverage pricing to insure profitability and stay with in budget parameters.Utilize our accounting system to input bar invoicesRestaurant key-holderPerform Close of Day and make sure deposit is accurate.Handle all Cash and make sure everything balances.Make sure that everyone is clocked in correctly and that they clock out.Assign counts and 86's to items in ToastMake Change OrdersTake Deposits and Change Orders to the bank when needed.Work with the Executive team to establish yearly budget for Bar.Review bar budget for controllable expensesMake purchases such as glassware, silverware, flatware etc...Assist with Payroll when needed.Administrative :
Restaurant key-holderDevelop relationships with sales representatives that can benefit JulietHire and On-Board team members into Inova, HotSchedules, Toast, Grat Share, etc...Keep track of time off requests and team member availabilities.Schedule bar team in conjunction with the AGM and GMWrite up or issue verbal warnings for team members as needed.Terminate team members when necessary.Maintain Staffing Pars for bar team members.Interview potential new hiresPerform reviews with team members after 60 days of employment.Perform reviews with team members annually.Sign for Deliveries when appropriateAttend weekly manager meetings at 3PM on Fridays.Maintain Organization of paper products, checklists, and training files.Put away paper orders and keep the office clear of boxes.Place orders for ABCO, Texas Coffee Traders, Ben E.
