POSITION OVERVIEW
Are you a compassionate and reliable individual who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others? We're seeking dedicated Live-In Direct Support Professionals to provide hands-on care and companionship to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Support individuals with personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer medications as directed
- Provide transportation to medical appointments, community events, and social outings
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and track progress toward personal goals
- Promote independence, dignity, and inclusion in everyday life
QUALIFICATIONS :
Excellent communication skills and a nurturing demeanorWillingness to work flexible hours and reside on-site during scheduled shiftsPrior experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities is a plusHigh school diploma or GED requiredValid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicleMust pass background checks and drug screeningFamiliarity with 6400 regulations is advantageousBENEFITS :
