Procurement Quality Engineering Associate Manager
Join Lockheed Martin's Air and Commercial Services (ACS) market segment as a Procurement Quality Engineering Associate Manager, leading the Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) team at our RMS Orlando, FL site. This challenging and rewarding role requires up to 50% travel to support suppliers and customers across the United States and International locations and demands flexibility in working hours.
As a Procurement Quality Engineering Associate Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall health and compliance of key suppliers supporting various portfolios within the ACS market segment as well as increasing engagements in cross plant program activities. Your expertise will drive the deployment of best practices and consistency in supplier selection, risk management, and proactive audits. You will manage a team to establish monitoring tools and metrics to guarantee that supplier products meet or exceed acceptable performance thresholds, aligned with our goal of zero defects within the RMS supply chain.

- CH53K
- VH92
- F-16
- C130J programs
- Training devices such as Weapons Systems Trainer (WST), Fuselage Trainer (FUT), Operational Flight Trainers (OFT), and other flight and maintenance devices
- Non-TLS Programs (Cross Plant) requiring engagement and reporting across multiple sites and working with IPTs and PMT from other RMS LOBs
Leadership Opportunities :
As a leader, you will manage a team of 5-7 junior Procurement Quality Engineers (PQEs) in a dynamic environment, serving as a role model for professional and constructive communication with internal cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
Your responsibilities will include :
Managing RFP activity, strategic supplier selection, and SOWs / Specs to ensure alignment with requirements and total value to the business.Participating in proposal preparation, proposal pre-work, and post-award execution.Managing / Leading supplier surveillance activities, physical configuration audits, site surveys, and critical source inspections.Approving supplier requirements and reviewing SDRLs.Participating in customer acceptance testing and other customer / program management-related meetings.Driving standardization to assure adequate QMS, process, capabilities, and capacity in the supply chain.Serving as the lead LM point of contact to the Program IPT, identifying and mitigating supplier risks, leading RCCAs, and providing creative solutions to problems.Partnering with Program Managers (PMs) and Senior Leadership to ensure Quality resources and support are established and maintained on specific efforts.You thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment and are committed to delivering best-in-class products and solutions.

Basic Qualifications :
