We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Accounting / Wire Specialist to join our team. This role is critical to our organization as it ensures the smooth and efficient operation of our financial transactions and record-keeping. The successful candidate will be a key player in our financial team, managing and executing wire transfers, balancing files, and maintaining our accounting software. Responsibilities :

As a Permanent Accounting / Wire Specialist, your main responsibilities will include :

1. Conducting daily wire transfer activities, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

2. Managing and balancing financial files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

3. Utilizing QuickBooks and QuickBase to maintain accounting records, generate reports, and conduct financial analysis.

4. Collaborating with team members to identify and implement process improvements.

5. Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports or statements.

6. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.

7. Assisting in the development and maintenance of financial procedures and policies.

8. Participating in financial audits, preparing necessary reports, and coordinating with external auditors.

9. Providing guidance and support to other team members on financial matters.

10. Staying up-to-date with developments in the financial industry, including best practices, new technologies, and changes to regulations.

Qualifications :

To be considered for the role of Permanent Accounting / Wire Specialist, applicants must have :

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the legal industry (preferred but not required).

2. Proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBase.

3. Demonstrated experience with wire transfers and balancing files. Will be balancing approximately 25-50 wires per day and they balance at the end of every day

4. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred.

5. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.

6. Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

7. Excellent analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.

8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

9. Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.

10. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
