\n\nTravel Nursing Job Details\n \n

  • Location : Nampa, Idaho (83687) – Idaho nursing jobs\n
  • Facility : Women's Services LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) – 14 LDRP beds\n
  • Assignment Length : 13-week travel contract (10 / 25 / 2025 – 1 / 24 / 2026)\n
  • Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am), weekends as needed\n
  • Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $2310 - $2470\n
  • Floating : May float to St. Luke's Treasure Valley locations (Meridian, Nampa, Boise) within L&D, Postpartum, Antepartum, or as a sitter\n
  • Orientation : 4 shifts of unit-specific orientation provided\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active RN license (Idaho or compact state)\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required (3 years preferred)\n
  • Mother-baby nursing experience preferred (at least 1 year preferred)\n
  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE\n
  • Proven experience in attending deliveries, newborn care, triage, circulating C-sections, and postpartum couplet care\n
  • Proficiency with magnesium and titrating drips (Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin)\n
  • Ability to float to other units / sites as needed within the healthcare system\n
  • Compliance with hospital dress code (hospital-issued scrubs)\n
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (travel nursing requirement)\n

    • \n\nLabor & Delivery RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver comprehensive care to laboring patients, including high-risk obstetric cases (32+ weeks gestation, hypertension, TOLACs, gestational diabetes, etc.)\n
  • Assist with deliveries and C-sections (circulate and recover patients)\n
  • Perform triage assessments and staff triage beds as needed\n
  • Provide postpartum couplet care and stabilize newborns within the first hour of life\n
  • Titrate and manage IV drips per clinical protocols\n
  • Collaborate with OB hospitalists, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, anesthesia, and resource RNs\n
  • Float to other St. Luke's Treasure Valley healthcare sites as required\n
  • Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic health records\n
  • Uphold infection control and patient safety standards, including adherence to no acrylic / gel nail policy\n
