ICU Nursing Job Details Job Title : ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment Location : Sioux Falls, South Dakota (Zip : 57105) Healthcare Setting : Acute care, Level 1 Trauma Center Unit : ICU / Critical Care (39 beds across three locations) Assignment Type : Travel nursing job Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 16, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Weekly Hours : 36 hours per week Shift : 12-hour rotating day / night shifts (every other weekend required) Holiday Coverage : Must be available for 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) Charting System : EPIC Scrubs : Navy Blue Estimated Weekly Salary : $2140 - $2290 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (Registered Nurse) Current ACLS and BLS certifications Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience Ability to float to med / surg or step-down units as needed Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including every other weekend and major holidays Strong communication and teamwork skills ICU Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Float to med / surg or step-down units as required, adapting to various patient populations Participate in orientation, competency assessments, and ongoing nursing training Maintain accurate records using the EPIC charting system Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols Apply now to join our healthcare team in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
