This role will support the NWSA’s communications and outreach efforts. This role will involve gathering and disseminating information, executing on our existing social media and branding strategy, supporting organization events, and maintaining communication assets for use across the organization.
Responsibilities
Data and Information Gathering : this role would collect and compile relevant data and information to support various communication strategies including media inquiries, stakeholder inquiries, and cross-organizational requests. Conduct special research and projects at the request of the Communications Director.
Content Creation and Distribution : Working closely with the Communications and Outreach Manager, this role would execute on our existing branding and social media strategies working to create and distribute engaging content across various online platforms including the website, web portal, and social media channels.
Event Support : this role would assist with planning and execution of several event types undertaken by the Communications department including press events, community engagement events, stakeholder events, and quarterly NWSA Team Huddles.
Stakeholder Engagement : this role would support the department in building and maintaining positive relationships with key NWSA stakeholders including supply chain partners, homeport partners, and community.
Conduct general internal asset organization and maintenance : this role would help maintain internal assets including photos on the shared PhotoShelter websites, maintain up-to-date graphics and visuals, conduct share point page maintenance.
A bachelor’s degree in communication, business administration, or other related area is required. An additional four (4) years related experience can substitute for the degree.
A minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in a professional environment performing related work that demonstrates skills proficient to succeed in this role is required.
