Persons employed as a Terminal and Pipeline Operator is expected to : Operates valves and manifolds for vessel off-loading and ensures required procedures are followed as required by the company and USCG. Certain functions may be performed in varying weather and environmental conditions, such as precipitation, extreme temperatures, jet engine fumes, dust, and noise. The tasks are performed inside and outside near stationary and moving aircraft (including spinning propellers and engines).

• Operates valves and manifolds for vessel off-loading and ensures required procedures are followed as required by the company and USCG.
• Operates valves and manifolds for product receipt from supplies via pipeline tanker or barge deliveries.
• Performs personnel training.
• Maintains department operations reports and records.
• Participates in emergency response drills.
• Performs fuel quality control testing.
• Performs janitorial and ground maintenance functions.
• Complies with the station's attendance / tardiness policy.

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, shift worked, responsibilities, seniority, geographical market, merit, output, productivity, prior training or experience, travel. The pay starting rate for this position is $24.33 / hour, per the collective bargaining agreement.
