About The Position

Job Title : CT Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : CT Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (18 : 00 - 06 : 30)

Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience required, with travel experience; 1st time travelers will not be accepted.

License : NC or Compact license required at time of start.

Certifications : BLS and ARRT certification required. CT registration specifically if ARRT certified.

Must-Have :

• Experience in inpatient, ER, and adult ICU settings.
• General skills in IV starts, PACS, and contrast.
• CT procedure experience including abdomen, pelvis, head / neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and CTAs.
• Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Description :

The unit performs approximately 200 exams daily.

Candidates must be able to handle routine CT exams across all ages and conditions.

Experience with Siemens equipment is required.

Candidates will work on a schedule managed by a supervisor based on unit needs.

Travelers are expected to bring their own dosimeter for this assignment.

No floating requirement is present for this position.

Candidates must be comfortable with potential changes in scheduling.

The position requires flexibility with no restrictions or special requests related to floating.

Compliance with fatigue policy is required; travelers cannot work more than 5 consecutive days or more than 60 hours per week.

The daily census includes caring for a diverse patient population.

All General skills and relevant certifications must be maintained throughout the assignment.
