About the Role :
As a Part Time Youth and Lifelong Learning Marketing Coordinator is based in Paramus, at the Main Campus and you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations and educational initiatives of our institution. The Part-Time Youth and Lifelong Learning Marketing Coordinator supports both the Kids and Teens Programs including the Summer Learning Academy, Summer High School, and After-School Enrichment and the Institute for Learning in Retirement (ILR). This role provides comprehensive technological, administrative, and communication support to the Assistant Director of Continuing Education and Workforce Development, ensuring visibility, data accuracy, and smooth delivery across these community programs.
The Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of the program including data, executing marketing campaigns, maintaining clear communication with families and members, and supporting the smooth delivery of courses, workshops, and events. By combining strong organizational, technical, and creative skills, the Coordinator plays a central role in increasing visibility, ensuring data integrity, and enhancing the student / member experience across CEWD’s community programs.
Reports to : Assistant Director, Continuing Education and Workforce Development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing and Outreach
- Plan, create, and distribute marketing campaigns using Constant Contact, Canva, and social media.
- Develop flyers, newsletters, and digital materials to promote youth and lifelong learning programs.
- Update and maintain program webpages, calendars, and community-facing communications.
- Coordinate on-site and digital signage to reflect current offerings and events.
Administrative and Program Support
Maintain program calendars, coordinate scheduling, and assist with logistical needs such as rosters, attendance, and room assignments.Serve as a point of contact for parents, students, and ILR members, responding promptly to inquiries.Provide clerical support for orientations, showcases, and special events.Support instructors and staff with communication, program materials, and technology needs.Data entry including course registration setup and student registration.Program Strategy and Development
Support the growth and success of programs by using data and systems to guide decisions.Manage enrollment and program information to keep operations running smoothly.Spot trends and opportunities that can shape future planning for Kids and Teens and ILR programs.Keep registration, scheduling, and reporting accurate and consistent to strengthen overall program delivery.Evaluation and Continuous Improvement
Collect and summarize student, parent, and ILR member evaluations to inform program enhancements.Support digital tools for feedback, check-ins, and engagement tracking.Provide recommendations for improving outreach, communications, and program efficiency.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Marketing Tools : Proficiency with Constant Contact, Canva, and social media for campaigns and promotions.Design Skills : Ability to create clear, engaging, and brand-consistent marketing materials.Communication : Strong written and verbal skills; ability to adapt style for parents, students, instructors, and older adult learners.Organization : Ability to manage multiple projects, calendars, and priorities with attention to detail.Customer Service : Professional, student- and member-centered approach to supporting diverse audiences.Data Proficiency : Advanced Google Sheets / Excel skills (formulas, filters, reporting.Technical Savvy : Willingness to learn and adopt new tools that improve communication, engagement, and data management.Education
Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred in communications, marketing, education, or related field.Experience
2-3 years of related experience in marketing, administrative, or program support roles.Experience with data tracking, reporting, and marketing campaign execution.Background in education, community programs, youth services, or lifelong learning preferred.Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.Employment Terms
