Lead UI Artist Job at CD Projekt in Boston

Overview

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Lead UI Artist to bring immersive and visually striking user interfaces to life in Cyberpunk 2. As a Lead UI Artist, you will play an important role in defining and maintaining the visual language of our UI, ensuring it not only fits the Cyberpunk aesthetic but also enhances gameplay and player immersion.

In this leadership role, you will coach, guide and empower the UI Art team, fostering collaboration and creativity while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cohesive interfaces. You will work closely with the Art Director, UI Designers, and Production to align vision, maintain consistency across the project, and uphold the artistic integrity of the UI.

This role emphasizes a clear artistic vision, with a focus on creating dynamic, stylized, and cohesive UI elements that enhance the cyberpunk atmosphere and provide a memorable player experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire the UI art team, providing feedback and guidance to ensure artistic quality and professional growth.
• Collaborate with UI designers, artists, and the Art Director to create a visually cohesive, user-centered UI that amplifies the Cyberpunk aesthetic.
• Establish and maintain a clear visual language that complements the game’s core design and narrative direction.
• Ensure consistency and quality of the UI art style across all aspects of the game.
• Partner with directors and Production to plan, prioritize, and track UI work, ensuring timely delivery at the expected quality.
