United WestLabs, Inc. (UWL) is a healthcare service company that implements and manages turn-key hospital-based laboratory outreach programs. UWL is currently operating some of the most successful hospital-based outreach lab programs in the country.

UWL is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to pick up and deliver lab specimens in Tacoma and surrounding areas.

Job Details

This position is responsible for utilizing company provided vehicles to obtain specimens that clients have collected from their patients and delivering them to testing laboratory location(s). Employees are expected to maintain professionalism in their actions and communication, ensuring the highest level of quality in their work at all times.

Qualified candidates will be willing to complete a background check that includes a motor vehicle record review, a drug screen and ID verification.

Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Follow assigned route sheet to pick up specimens from clients at appointed time.

2. Transporting supply orders.

3. Pick up STAT specimens in a timely manner.

4. Ensure that the company car is always in good running condition, filled with gas and clean.

5. Properly annotate both door hangers and route sheet, or similar, in the manner instructed.

6. Drive safely, obeying all rules of the road.

7. Be pleasant and helpful to all clients and their staff.

Additional Responsibilities :

1. Maintains excellent working relationship with all clients and their staff.

2. Facilitates feedback from the client in regard to customer service and overall volume for the Operations Manager.
