Job description

Join our Sprouts' Team! We are currently seeking full-time & part-time individuals that enjoy working with children in a fun and supportive environment. The Sprouts’ staff consists of a team of energetic, creative, and nurturing people. Whether you desire full-time employment, are retired and seeking a fun job a few days a week, or are currently taking college courses and have limited availability, we can work with you. Our goal is to plant seeds of knowledge in every child that enters our program to instill life long learning. Sprouts is located at 200 Schumann Dr NW in Stewartville, MN. We are conveniently located off Interstate 90, Highway 63 and Highway 30 for commuting families and staff

  • General Description :

Teachers help to make Sprouts feel like a home away from home for children! Staff teach children to realize and utilize all of their potentials; socially, physically and mentally. Teachers help to build the children’s confidence by preparing them with strong language, literacy and learning skills that they will carry with them the rest of their lives.

  • Job Responsibilities / Requirements :
  • Expected to always build positive and trusting relationships with children and their families
  • Routinely connects with families to ensure satisfaction before, as well as after, concerns arise
  • Keeps the Director / Assistant Director informed of any issues involving children / clients. Open communication between all staff is criticial
  • Ensure the daily care of every child by following all health, State Licensing and safety guidelines and implementing all company policies.
  • Maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is safe, inviting, clean and organized.
  • Demonstrate the ability to utilize teaching and leadership skills in the classroom.
  • Works to make Sprouts a fun and exciting place to work, learn and play
  • Qualifications :
  • High School diploma and 24 quarter credits of secondary education, or an education related degree (Bachelors, Associates or CDA)
  • Please refer to Minnesota DHS Rule 3 Licensing Laws to ensure meeting qualifications
  • All Sprouts Positions Require :
  • Have or be willing to obtain SUIDS, AHT, CPR, and First Aid Certification
  • Most of all, you will be able to have fun, and will get to work with wonderful kids and amazing people just like you!

    Pay : $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
