Security Officer - Healthcare Center Patrol - Full Time

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a secure and welcoming environment within a dynamic healthcare location. Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting regular patrols throughout assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. You will be an approachable resource for staff, patients, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. Pay Rate : $18.26 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Tue 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Wed 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or potential disruptions.
  • Assist with access control at entrances and exits, verifying identification and monitoring visitor flow as needed.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity and / or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations and / or other urgent situations.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to those on site.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
