Seeking a Desktop Support Specialist for a Long Term Contract (Minimum 12 months) located in Charleston, SC. This will be an onsite position and will require some travel to Mt. Pleasant.
Required Work Experience
- 2 years of technical operations support experience. No clearance though please hold off on sponsored candidates.
Required Technologies
Windows environment with Microsoft M365, IBM BigFix, Trellix, Cisco AnyConnect, ServiceNow.Preferred Technologies
Experience with asset management systems, NetScout network analyzer, support of A / V systems, Citrix support.What You Will Do In This Role
Responsible for configuring, installing, and maintaining desktop software and hardware.Provides technical support and guidance to users.Provide 2nd level desktop support to internal customers whether it be deskside or over the phone.Respond to incident tickets where something no longer works that used to work as well as service requests involving installs, moves, adds, and changes to desktop hardware and software.Responsible for asset management and security compliance of all desktop systems and print devices. Support for Citrix / RDP access for users.About The Team
Team of 7 onsite as well as 5 staff at remote sites.Highly collaborative team with a mix of senior and more junior members providing a high level of customer service to our internal customers.Support Citrix / RDP configurations for company as a whole from Charleston office.Required Education
Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job related field, or 2 years of job related work experience.Job Details
