Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner

We re currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner - Hematology/Oncology to join our amazing team.

Details of the Opening:

• Start Date: February 2026
• Contract Length: 22 weeks
• Outpatient/Clinic
• Schedule: 5x8 days, M-F 0830-5p
  
• Support staff: APPs, physicians, RNs, MAs
  
• Patients per day: About 12 - 14/day
• Patient population/age: Adult
• Dept is apart of large cancer center; they see variety of cancers like breast, GI, GU, and Hem/Onc
• Infusions happen on site, infusion knowledge required for locum
• Will be facilitating patient visits and managing in-basket messages
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program
  
• License required: CA PA required
• DEA: CA DEA Schedule 2 required
• Certifications required: AHA BLS
• Minimum experience required: Must have at least 2 years RECENT experience working in adult outpatient oncology setting; preferred if provider has worked with breast, GI, or GU cancers; preferred if provider has infusion experience
