Estimator Mid-Level

Mid-Level Estimator

The Mid-Level Estimator supports the claims review process by generating accurate cost assessments for disaster-related property damage. This role utilizes standardized pricing tools and valuation methods to determine repair and replacement costs in compliance with federal policy and program guidelines. The Estimator works closely with claims reviewers, SMEs, and site inspectors to ensure consistency, documentation accuracy, and fairness in compensation determinations.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Ability to understand and interpret complex federal policy language
• Disaster-related knowledge and background to accurately assess losses, damages, repairs, and replacement costs
• Customer service, excellent written and verbal communication skills and knowledge and ability to explain policy and regulations to claimants, FEMA staff, and other stakeholders
• Proficiency in using claims management software, databases, and other technology tools that facilitate claim processing, documentation, and communication

What you can expect from APTIM :

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $25.00 to $30.67. Compensation depends on several factors including experience, education, key skills, geographic location of the position, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among other employees within APTIM.
