About the Opportunity :

Schedule : Monday to Friday (with possible Saturday coverage)

Hours : 8am to 5pm

Setting : Community Health Clinic

Parking : Available

Responsibilities :

Performing nursing procedures such as checking vital signs, phlebotomy, and administering immunizations

Assisting in medical examinations and direct patient care

Maintaining accurate patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)

Educating patients about procedures and self-care post-discharge

Ensuring compliance with HIPAA and maintaining patient confidentiality

Collaborating with the healthcare team to support clinic goals and operations

Qualifications :

3+ years of experience in Pediatrics

Licensed Vocational Nurse certificate in the State of California

Proficiency in direct patient care methods and practices

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records

Excellent communication skills

Strong attention to detail and highly organized

Desired Skills :

Bilingual (English and Spanish)

Experience in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) or Community Health

Familiarity with ECW EMR systems

Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to change

Current California driver's license with required insurance
