Mainframe Engineer Required qualifications : We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer with : at least 5 years of expertise in COBOL, CICS, TSO, and JCL.

The primary environment is IBM z / OS.

Experience in writing and maintaining JCL for batch job processing.

Familiarity with CA-IDEAL and CA Datacom.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Knowledge of other related mainframe utilities and batch processing tools Role information : The role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing mainframe applications, troubleshooting issues, optimizing code, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Other tasks and duties within this scope that arise may also be assigned.

The contractor will be an individual contributor and expected to complete assigned maintenance tasks, bug fixes, and minor system enhancements to the student information system's mainframe applications on an ongoing basis.

Deliverables will typically be tied to individual work assignments on a project tracking tool like JIRA, and will be tracked and approved through established team processes.
