Job description

Position Responsibilities

  • Markets residential mortgage loan products to real estate agents, prospective homebuyers and / or builder sales representative. Spends 25% or more of the workday conducting marketing activities and closing business outside of the worksite (including home office).
  • Originates loan applications ensuring correct pricing, fulfillment of investor guidelines, compliance with federal and state banking credit, and non-discrimination
  • Completes all applications, including Good Faith, Details of transaction and all information required on a
  • Assists the processor in securing needed documentation as required for loan
  • Constantly reviews investor guidelines, to remain current with agency (FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA, MHF) and individual investor
  • Performs all other duties as assigned (job duties may be added from time to time by the employer in its sole and absolute discretion).
  • Maintains elevated levels of customer service while managing each applicant's and support staff's expectations.

Minimum Education & Experience

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills ski
  • Ability to clearly explain complex information to clients
  • Experience in related fields
  • High level of integrity and understanding of ethical practices in finance

    • Technical Knowledge and Skills

  • "Microsoft office software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc); excellent oral and written communication skills

    • On-the-Job Training

  • Mentorship / Shadowing : Work under the supervision of experienced loan officers to learn the practical aspects of the job.
  • Sales and Customer Service training

  • We're currently hiring only within our core locations, which include Maryland (MD), District of Columbia (DC), Virginia (VA), Pennsylvania (PA), Delaware (DE), Indiana (IN), Illinois (IL), South Carolina (SC), Florida (FL), and North Carolina (NC).

    • Compensation

  • Base Salary Range : $17.95 per hour.
