Description : JOB SUMMARY :
The Hospitality Manager plays a pivotal role in creating a welcoming, professional, and memorable experience for all guests at the Utah Mammoth Practice Facility. This position is responsible for overseeing the seamless execution of all hosted events—from tournaments and public skates to corporate functions and community gatherings—ensuring each one reflects the facility’s high standards of service and organization. Additionally, the Hospitality Manager leads the front desk operations, fostering a culture of excellence, efficiency, and hospitality among staff.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all facility-hosted events, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Manage front desk operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising staff to maintain a professional and welcoming environment.
- Coordinate with sponsorship sales and service team to ensure all contract obligations are fully executed.
- Collaborate with programming, operations, and marketing teams to support event logistics and guest communications.
- Develop and implement hospitality standards, policies, and procedures to elevate the customer experience.
- Monitor guest feedback and resolve service issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of event bookings, staffing schedules, and front desk performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and facility protocols during all events and daily operations.
REQUIREMENTS :
Proven experience in hospitality, event management, or customer service leadership.Strong organizational and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Proficiency in scheduling software, POS systems, and basic office tools.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain relationships with a varied group of individuals.Self-starter, with the ability to manage several projects at once, in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.Ability to work long hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.Employees must have reliable transportation to and from work, as well as occasional ability to travel to meet potential clients and attend industry conferences.Must possess a valid Utah driver’s license.Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) screening in accordance with company policy and insurance requirements.COMPETENCIES :
