Fire Alarm & Security Inspector III
What You Will Do
Inspectors are responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Fire Alarm and Security Systems, including similar competitive manufacturers’ product lines. In addition to inspections, inspectors may occasionally perform system installations and service calls.
How You Will Do It
Perform quality inspections while meeting customer expectationsAccurately discern and document deficiencies found during inspectionsProfessionally represent the company at all timesComplete service acknowledgements / inspections using laptops, smartphones, or hardcopyFollow and maintain a highly structured inspection scheduleMake minor repairs and programming changes to systems being inspectedComplete assigned inspections on timePerform other duties as directedWhat We Look For
Required
High School Diploma or EquivalentValid driver’s license and acceptable driving recordNICET certificationAbility to obtain and retain any licenses required by National, State, and Local codeExperience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs, schematics, and manualsExperience with hand tools and multi-meter usageCapable of performing physical labor (lifting up to 70 lbs)Able to work in challenging environments (ladders, scaffolding, crawl spaces, etc.)Flexible schedule including on-call rotation, nights, and weekendsWillingness to travel out of townStrong customer service skillsCommitment to safety guidelines and proceduresStrong organizational skills, positive attitude, and quick learning abilityAbility to pass a pre-employment background and drug testPreferred
NICET II certificationNICET III certificationNational, State, and Local licensesHIRING HOURLY RANGE : $21.63 - $29.33 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
