General Description / Primary Purpose
Under the direction of a Manager or above, works to design, develop, support, and maintain the organization’s collaboration and messaging infrastructure. Analyzes, develops, modifies, tests and maintains the collaboration and messaging system. Make updates to collaboration and messaging systems related installation documentation. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.

Departmental Requirements
Supervision Received :
This position requires occasional verbal and / or written direction and can generally work independently. The supervisor shall ensure that the incumbent is aware of and adheres to state, board of trustees, university, and departmental policies.
Level of Public Contact :
Moderate to high. The incumbent interacts with the public, including students, faculty, staff, and the outside public, such as vendors. The incumbent may be called upon to serve on intra- and inter- institutional groups and committees and may be called upon to deliver oral or written presentations, as directed by management.
Policy-making and / or Interpretation :
The incumbent shall recommend and implement policies and procedures necessary to effectively administer Microsoft Enterprise network services.
Program Direction and Development :
This position will influence strategic technology decisions for the department and will participate in the prioritization and resource allocation necessary for successful project planning and implementation.
Statement of Responsibility for Confidential Data :
The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that systems design and operational procedures comply with federal, state, and university statues, guidelines, and policies on confidentiality of information.
Required Qualifications
Master's or Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.
