PCU RN Job Details Location : Klamath Falls, Oregon (Zip : 97601) – Oregon nursing jobs Facility Setting : Acute Care – Progressive Care Unit (Stepdown) Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 20 / 2025 – End : 1 / 19 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour nights (1730-0615); every other weekend and holidays required Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed Estimated Weekly Salary : $1970 - $2110 Charting System : Epic EMR Orientation : 1-2 shifts based on experience Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon or compact state Minimum 1 year of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown nursing experience Current ACLS and BLS certifications Proficiency in telemetry, cardiac drip titration (insulin, heparin, cardizem, nitro, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutamine), and basic rhythm interpretation Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and holidays Professional appearance; no specific scrub color required PCU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with cardiac, post-cath / pacer, pneumonia, COVID-19, ETOH, and ICU downgrade diagnoses Monitor and interpret telemetry strips with support from remote tele and monitor technicians Titrate cardiac and insulin drips according to physician orders Collaborate with charge nurse, nurse aides, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team Accurately document patient care in Epic EMR Participate in unit orientation and comply with department policies Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Klamath Falls, Oregon!
