Senior Scientist in Computational Biology

A company is looking for a Senior Scientist - Research Computational Biology (ARIA).

Key Responsibilities

Extract biological insights from complex omics and screening data to characterize disease mechanisms and identify therapeutic targets

Develop and leverage methods to discover and validate targets across various diseases

Collaborate with therapeutic area scientists and data science teams to integrate computational biology tools into R&D platforms

Required Qualifications

Doctorate in computational biology, bioinformatics, data science, or related discipline, or a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience

Strong programming skills in Python, R, and Linux / Unix

Experience with single-cell omics data analysis and interpretation

Familiarity with public data resources used to augment internal analyses

Experience in developing tools and pipelines for research applications
