Job descriptionEMS Division NEW Shift beginning 1 / 11 / 2026 : 48 / 96 (2 days on 4 days off) - Three shift rotation (I, II, & III) Starting Salary - $82,089.72 / year After 1 year Salary - $89,825.76 / year Plus available overtime upon completion of FTO Average ambulance call volume =5 / day No Social Security Withheld Paid Time-Off (PTO) - Max accrual 500hrs Texas County District Retirement System (TCDRS) 2 : 1 matching Medical, life, dental, and vision insurance programs available (current Cigna) for employee and family Next Level Urgent Care / Family Practice available to employee and family at NO CHARGE Uniform Stipend $450 annually Monthly Certification Incentive Pay - up to $100 / month

Harris County ESD#50 (Channelview Fire Department) will be accepting applications for the position of Firefighter / Paramedic or Paramedic assigned to the EMS Division . Harris County Emergency Service District #50 (Channelview Fire Department) encompasses approximately 19 square miles that produces over 4,662 responses for emergency service per year.

- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 21 Years of age
- TDSHS Paramedic Certification
- Valid DL
