Join our dedicated team as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, where you will provide compassionate care to patients under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses. Your role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clinic patients, adhering to established standards and practices.

Responsibilities :

• Embrace and exemplify the OneCHRISTUS Competencies : Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Assist with patient care by obtaining vital signs, measuring patient weight, and collecting specimens, including performing phlebotomy as needed. Support providers during examinations and treatments, facilitating smooth patient flow in the clinic.
• Manage phone communications by answering calls, recording messages, and assisting providers with patient inquiries.
• Coordinate the scheduling of tests, managing appointments and pre-authorizations efficiently.
• Document all relevant patient information accurately to maintain comprehensive records.
• Support providers with medication refills and patient-related requests.
• Administer medications and immunizations as per physician orders, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by restocking and sanitizing exam rooms and equipment in accordance with established policies.
• Perform routine clerical tasks, including locating patient charts and completing necessary forms.
• Participate actively in required training sessions and meetings, and be prepared to perform additional duties as assigned.
