Job descriptionDay Shift. 7am - 7pm. Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications. Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse. Educates patients on surgical procedures; Records patients’ medical information and vital signs. Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain). 1-2 years of acute care experience in this specialty. BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Registered Nurses (RN) Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) Travel Nursing Quality Assurance / Review, Performance Improvement, HEDIS Nursing Leadership Case Management Technologists : Medical, Laboratory, Cardiac, RadTech, X-Ray Therapy : Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy Social Work : LCSW / LMSW, Case Management, Care Coordination Med Support : Medical Assistants, Phlebotomy, Surgical / Sterile Techs Pharmacists and Pharmacy Techs Dental Hygienist, Dental Assistants Practice Management Clinical Operations Administrative Support Reception, Clerical, Call Center Claims Appeals / Denials / Reimbursement Insurance Pre-Authorizations Medical Billing / Coding 401k retirement plan Weekly pay
