Position Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial direction of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in public company finance, turnaround management, and mergers & acquisitions (M&A). This role requires a hands-on leader capable of driving profitability, restructuring operations to reduce costs, and enhancing shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company growth goals.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board regarding financial performance, risk, and opportunities.
- Financial Turnaround & Performance Improvement
- Lead financial restructuring and turnaround initiatives.
- Implement effective cash flow, cost management, and capital allocation processes.
- Mergers & Acquisitions
- Identify and execute strategic M&A opportunities to enhance market share and increase company valuation.
- Oversee financial due diligence, deal structuring, and post-merger integration.
- Public Company & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with public company financial reporting requirements (e.g., SEC filings, SOX).
- Maintain strong investor relations and support earnings calls, annual meetings, and public disclosures.
- Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning process.
- Deliver accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Operational Efficiency & Cost Restructuring
- Identify areas of inefficiency and lead restructuring efforts to reduce operating costs.
- Partner with department heads to align financial strategy with operational execution.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.15+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years as CFO of a publicly traded company .Proven experience in financial turnarounds, restructuring, and M&A.Deep understanding of SEC reporting, corporate governance, and public company compliance.Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Based in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX .Compensation :
