Job description

HV Engineering (HVE) is a mechanical engineering firm located in Mountlake Terrace, WA that specializes in HVAC and Plumbing Consulting Engineering. What You'll Do

  • Support mechanical system design from concept through construction documents
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors and other disciplines, along with internal team members to ensure fully integrated designs
  • Perform HVAC and Plumbing load calculations, equipment selection, and code compliance reviews for plumbing and HVAC systems
  • Conduct QA / QC on plans, specs, and reports
  • Lead or engage in client meetings

Requirements

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in plumbing design for multi-family, mixed-use, commercial, retail, restaurant, educational, civic, and health care buildings
  • Proven experience in the design and implementation of plumbing and HVAC systems
  • Familiarity with the International Mechanical Code, Uniform Plumbing Code, Energy Code and ASHRAE Standards
  • Working expertise in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Engineering or technical degree in relevant field preferred

    • What We Offer

    We are targeting a base salary of $100,000 to $150,000, but is determined by several factors including education, experience, licensing, and a history of working in the Seattle area.
