What You'll Do
- Support mechanical system design from concept through construction documents
- Coordinate with architects, contractors and other disciplines, along with internal team members to ensure fully integrated designs
- Perform HVAC and Plumbing load calculations, equipment selection, and code compliance reviews for plumbing and HVAC systems
- Conduct QA / QC on plans, specs, and reports
- Lead or engage in client meetings
Requirements
Professional Engineer (PE) License requiredMinimum 5 years of experience in plumbing design for multi-family, mixed-use, commercial, retail, restaurant, educational, civic, and health care buildingsProven experience in the design and implementation of plumbing and HVAC systemsFamiliarity with the International Mechanical Code, Uniform Plumbing Code, Energy Code and ASHRAE StandardsWorking expertise in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft OfficeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExceptional organization and time management skills with attention to detailEngineering or technical degree in relevant field preferredWhat We Offer
We are targeting a base salary of $100,000 to $150,000, but is determined by several factors including education, experience, licensing, and a history of working in the Seattle area.
