You will be highly leveraged to perform all tasks where a veterinarian is not required. The ideal person is proficient in the following skills : taking patient histories, client education, animal handling and restraint, obtaining blood samples, placing IV catheters, performing in-house lab work, digital x-ray, caring for hospitalized pets, surgical assistance, computer skills, and client communication over the phone. You should enjoy a fast paced environment and have a knack for recognizing what needs to be done and have the ability to accomplish it.

Education / Experience :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Registered Veterinary Technicians in Missouri are preferred, but not necessarily required.
