Pediatric Locum Opportunity

Join a critical access hospital in Dickinson, North Dakota, providing essential pediatric care to the community. This locum tenens opportunity involves covering 24-hour call shifts for 7 days per month. Collaborate with a supportive team including NICU consultants and fulfill key duties in the Labor and Delivery / Pediatrics Unit and Level II nursery. Key Details

  • Schedule : 7 days per month, 24-hour call

    • Job Responsibilities

  • Attend vaginal deliveries if requested
  • Attend all scheduled and emergent C-Sections
  • Admit and discharge newborns
  • Provide care for pediatric patients
  • Perform circumcisions
  • Conduct newborn resuscitation, intubations, and UVC procedures
  • Execute lumbar punctures

    • Qualifications

  • Board Certified / Board Eligible (highly preferred)
  • ND License or IMLC (required)
  • Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP (required)
  • Clean malpractice history (required)

    • Working Hours

  • 24-hour on-call shifts for 7 days each month, beginning 11 / 21

    • Skills

  • Proficiency in circumcisions and neonatal procedures
  • Experience in newborn resuscitation and intubation
  • Patient-focused approach and strong collaboration skills

    • Collaborate with local pediatricians and leverage the support of NICU consultants located in Bismarck, North Dakota for more complex cases. This role is ideal for those who demonstrate expertise and compassion in pediatric care.
